Bacon-Wrapped Apricots With Sage

Cook Time: 25 mins

Makes 24 hors d'ouvres

24 Small free sage leaves

24 large dried aprictos

8 slices bacon, cut crosswise into thirds (I bought the maple cured bacon -yummy!)

2 Tsps pure maple syrup

Heat oven to 375 degree F. Place a sage leaf on each apricot and wrap with a piece of the bacon. Place them seam side down on a baking sheet (I line it with non-stick foil so there is virtually no clean up!) Bake until the bacon is beginning to crisp. Remove from the oven and brush with maple syrup. Serve with toothpicks.
