"Back In The Day" Betty Crocker Gingies

This classic recipe is coming from a book so old that the binding is literally falling apart from use over the years (image bottom left). The Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook was originally published in 1950 and the golden recipes found in this classic trove have been warming the hearts and tummies of our family for all that time. More than just recipes this cookbook also contained iconic imagery of historic kitchens and even predictions of what the kitchen of the future would look like! (image bottom right)
